A device for detection of leaks at the level of a wall of a basin

The device (10) has a measurement box (1) comprising bell shaped walls (1-1, 1-2) defining respective internal chambers (1a, 2a) with open faces (1b, 2b) bordered by seals (1c, 2c). A flexible pipe (3-2) connects one of the chambers to a device decreasing pressure of gas i.e. air inside the chamber in a controlled manner. A compressed gas supply device is connected to a pipe and/or the chamber. One of the walls is fixed at another wall, so that the chamber surrounds side part (1-1a) of the wall. One of the seals surrounds another seal. The faces are located in same plane in a coaxial manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting a leak at wall of basin of swimming pool.
