This carrier beam is based on the principle of two identical sections (11 and 12) arranged in two layers in order to obtain the necessary height and put ends to ends in terms of length (see Patent No. 0504328). The experience gained through this patent allows to improve the concept and to obtain a completely new product. The assembly of the beam, with a "pre-bending" in hollow of all its profiles, is obtained thanks to hooks (7 and 8) on the lateral faces of the profiles and the bonding of the faces in contact with the upper and lower profiles (9 Carbon fibers are inserted and then glued in grooves (13 and 14) provided for this purpose on the upper face of the profile (11) at the top of the assembly. This is then returned to 180 °, the carbon plates, the coefficient of elongation lower than aluminum, then working in traction, support all the vertical loads imposed on the beam (weight snow, wind, etc.). ..) In grooves located on either side of the beam, at the junction of the profiles (11 and 12) are then inserted and glued carbon plates which counterbalance the horizontal deformations of the beam due to possible asymmetry imposed efforts.
