Thermal barrier deposited directly on monocrystalline superalloys

The process for depositing a thermal barrier on a monocrystalline superalloy (10) that is useful in a part of turbine blade of a turbomachine, comprises directly depositing zirconium on the superalloy. Independent claims are included for: (1) a part having the monocrystalline superalloy; and (2) a turbine blade.
