The element (10) has a profile element (11) made of light metal by an extrusion process, and comprising ribs (14), which form a tread and are arranged parallel together. The ribs have protrusions, which are arranged transverse to an extension of the ribs. The protrusions are formed with an edge during transition from an upper side (12) of the ribs in the protrusions. The ribs and the protrusions are arranged at uniform distances to each other. The profile element consists of aluminum, and is formed as an opened or closed extruded profile.
