DAM ELEMENT, METHOD FOR USING DAM ELEMENTS AND DAM DEVICE

The invention relates to a dam element that comprises two laterally interlinked tube sections (1a, 1b) that lie one beside the other in an off-set manner. At both sides of a medium section (3) having a constant diameter, end sections (4, 5) in the form of oblique cones that taper towards opposite sides end in terminal openings (8) that are closed by closing elements (9). In order to facilitate a link with a tube section of a contiguous dam element, the one end section (5) is surrounded by a collar (17) that narrows towards its outer periphery. For producing a dam element, the tube sections (1a, 1b) are filled with air, the dam elements are arranged in the terrain and linked and the air is replaced by water. It is possible to establish the lateral link between the tube element by way of an intermediate element that forms a water-tight trough. The bottom of said trough, once the trough is filled with water, clings to the underground, thereby improving the tightness of the dam device.
