A device (D) is charged with generating a sound signal representative of the dynamics of a vehicle (V). This device (D) comprises processing means (MT) arranged so as to define i) a frequency window as a function of the current speed of the vehicle (V), ii) a shift of this frequency window as a function of the current variation of this current speed, and iii) a scan speed of a comb comprising spectral components as a function of the current acceleration of the vehicle (V), and sound synthesis means (MS) arranged so as to synthesize a sound signal dependent on these definitions so that it is broadcast by a sound broadcasting system (SD).
