Household device series and method for producing household appliances that are operated in different ways

The household appliances series has two household devices with different operating units, which have printed circuit boards (PCBs) (4) with an identical PCB layout (2), where multiple contact sensors are variably equipped at the PCBs at predefined positions. The contact sensors are assigned software controlled discrete functions. Each different evaluation algorithms are assigned for setting values of an operating parameter of the household appliance of a fixed group of contact sensors. An independent claim is included for a method for producing different-to-use home appliances, particularly cooktops.
