According to this method for improving the thermal insulation of existing structures and new buildings are glazed, closed at their surface, filled with air balls of expanded silica or expanded perlite by means of Dünnstromförderung means of a pump carriage (1) with hose (3) and nozzle (4) the cavities and interspaces (5, 6, 7) of an existing building are blown in and these are then filled up.
