Automotive body sheet in the form of an aluminium composite sheet material wherein a clad material is applied to at least one side of a core material, and wherein the core material is an aluminium 6xxx alloy having a composition, in wt.%, Si 0.8 to 1.3, Mg 0.4 to 0.7, Cu 0.25, optionally at least one element selected from the group consisting of: (Ti, Fe, Mn, Cr, Zr, Zn), unavoidable impurities and balance aluminium, and wherein the clad material is selected from the group consisting of an aluminium 6xxx alloy having the following composition, in wt.%, Si 0.3 to 0.7, Mg 0.3 to 0.7, Mn up to 0.15, Fe up to 0.35, impurities and balance aluminium, or an aluminium 6xxx alloy having the following composition, in wt.%, Si 0.8 to 1.3, Mg 0.4, Cu 0.25, optionally at least one element selected from the group consisting of: (Ti, Fe, Mn, Cr, Zr, Zn), unavoidable impurities and balance aluminium, wherein the clad material has a thickness of at least 14 % of the total gauge of the composite material.
