FRPM PIPE, AND DETERIORATION CHECKING METHOD FOR FRPM PIPES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRPM pipe and a deterioration checking method for FRPM pipes that enable cracks having occurred in resin mortar layers over time to be easily and quickly checked.;SOLUTION: An FRPM pipe is formed by forming an FRP layer 2 made up of resin-impregnated glass fibers over a resin mortar layer 1 and a protective layer 3 formed over the FRP layer 2. This is a less ductile FRPM pipe in which fluorescent dye that emits light when irradiated with exciting light toward the resin; a light intercepting agent that prevents transmission of exciting light is mixed into the protective layer 3 and, when any crack occurs in the resin mortar layer, a crack or cracks occur following the initial crack. By a deterioration checking method, the FRPM pipe is irradiated with exciting light to detect a crack 11 having occurred in the resin mortar layer 1 by causing the exciting light to pass from a crack 31 having occurred in the protective layer 3 to have the FRP layer 2 emit light.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
