PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for employing and realizing geodetic triangulation for determining global positioning of computing devices.;SOLUTION: A mechanism is described for realizing geodetic triangulation to determine global positioning of computing devices according to one embodiment of the invention. A method of embodiments of the invention includes detecting, at a computing device, first location information associated with static wireless access points.
