PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use riding type paddy field work machine which facilitates stepping of a foot on a getting on/off step while avoiding expansion of a lateral width of a machine body during transportation and storage.;SOLUTION: A riding type paddy field work machine comprises: an operation part step 30 provided in a traveling machine body; and a getting on/off step 33 having a tread surface 34 at a position lower than a top face of the operation part step 30 at a lateral outside lower part of the operation part step 30.
