PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base for an elderly and physically impaired person to put on and take off shoes without having assistance as much as possible, while an elderly and a physically impaired person who actually have difficulty in putting on and taking off shoes and are unable to do it alone are assisted by a care taker, a family member, etc., in putting on and taking off shoes.;SOLUTION: The base for putting on and taking off shoes (the base) for an elderly and a physically impaired person is characterized in that a toe holder, and a heel cushion and a heel cushion stopper on the heel side for easily putting on and taking off shoes, are installed on the base body, with a step-on base space prepared on both left and right sides of the base body; that, on the foundation of the base body, there are a base leg upper part and a base leg lower part which are for adjusting an angle of putting on and taking off shoes; and that, with a slip stopper prepared on the contact face with the ground, and with a hinge installed in the base leg lower part, a carrying grip is provided on the toe outer edge side of the base.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
