PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve chores of re-setting authentication information by users as securing security of communication among devices.SOLUTION: An electric power management device (1) includes: a storage unit (12) that stores authentication information given for being authenticated by a meter device (2) at a connection destination; and a control unit (11) that, when the stored authentication information is lost, can acquire the same authentication information as the lost authentication information or different authentication information from the meter device (2) if the electric power management device matches a re-connection condition for re-connecting to the meter device (2), and re-connects to the meter device (2) using the acquired authentication information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
