PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computing method capable of calculating high-likelihood capability values on the basis of rating results of all the examination questions by preventing production of examination questions irrelevant to estimation of capability values.;SOLUTION: The computing method includes: performing second quality determination processing on questions without any difficulty level subject to a second capability value calculation and specifying questions out of the standard; and when the number of questions determined out of the standard by the quality determination processing is zero or a prescribed number or less, calculating final capability values. In a final capability value calculation, capability value calculation of N examinees is performed on M questions in total, namely, m questions with a difficulty level attached from the first, X questions determined within the standard by previous quality determination processing, and a plurality of questions determined out of the standard by the respective quality determination processing, on the basis of correct answer rates for each of the M questions obtained from the rating results of the N examinees, the difficulty level of the m questions, and a difficulty level provided to the X questions in the previous capability value calculation, so as to calculate the capability values of the N examinees.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
