PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel screening method of periodontitis therapeutic agent, an examination method, and a diagnosis kit, by analyzing the marker of aggressive fibroblasts that are cells causing periodontitis.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method of detecting the reduced expression from P1 promoter of RUNX2 and the reduced expression of DLX5 compared with the expression of normal gingival fibroblasts, by analyzing aggressive fibroblasts. The invention also relates to a method of detecting increased FLT1 expression. A screening method of a therapeutic agent for periodontitis includes a screening method of a therapeutic agent and an examination method by identifying aggressive fibroblasts using the expression characteristic to these aggressive fibroblasts as a marker.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
