PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fiber-reinforced composite material which sufficiently suppresses occurrence of voids also with easy and simple device configuration and can be produced at low cost, also when a large-sized fiber-reinforced composite material is produced; and to provide a fiber-reinforced composite material produced by the same.SOLUTION: A method for producing a fiber-reinforced composite material includes: a lamination step of alternately laminating a prepreg 12 formed by impregnating a first fiber base material with a matrix resin and a second fiber base material 14 to form a laminate 10 of the prepreg 12 and the second fiber base material; a deaeration step of covering the laminate 10 with a sealed sheet 70 to form an air-tightly storage body and deaerating air in the air-tightly storage body; and a heating step of heating the inside of the air-tightly storage body, and integrating the prepreg and the second fiber base material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
