PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency mixer with improved frequency characteristic.;SOLUTION: A frequency mixer includes an IF signal filter 101 for filtering an IF signal, an LO signal filter 104 for filtering an LO signal inputted from a local oscillator, a λ/2 balun 100 for generating an RF signal by mixing the IF signal and the LO signal, a first and a second diodes 108 and 110, and short circuits 109 and 111. A terminator 107 is provided on an LO transmission line 105 between the LO signal filter and the λ/2 balun 100, via a filter 106 for filtering the same frequency bandwidth as the IF signal filter 101. The filter 106 and the terminator 107 absorb an IF signal inputted to the LO signal filter 104 from the λ/2 balun 100, thereby prevent the reflected IF signal from being inputted to the λ/2 balun 100 to suppress ripple generation.
