PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a storage tank structure which can drastically improve economic efficiency while drastically improving safety of work in building a storage tank body and work efficiency, and a structure for preventing stains on a storage tank wall surface.SOLUTION: A storage tank structure includes: a storage tank wall made of reinforced concrete; a metallic roofing material connected to an inner top end of the storage tank wall through a receiving tool; a structure for preventing stains on storage tank wall surfaces which is a structure body for preventing stains on storage tank wall surfaces raised on a top end of the storage tank wall and has a top end in a position higher than a height at which the metallic roofing material is connected to the receiving tool; and a drain pipe provided in a lower part of the structure body for preventing stains on storage tank wall surfaces in a manner to penetrate through the structure body for preventing stains on storage tank wall surfaces from the metallic roofing material to an outer wall side of the storage tank wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
