PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite substrate which can be suitably used for a sensor material having excellent sensing function and durability and to provide a sensor using the same.;SOLUTION: There is provided a composite substrate 100 which comprises a nanocomposite layer 10 and a porous light reflection member 20 laminated on the nanocomposite layer 10. The nanocomposite layer 10 comprises a matrix 1 having a solid skeleton part 1a and gaps 1b formed by the solid skeleton part 1a and metal fine particles 3 fixed to the solid skeleton part 1a of the matrix 1. The solid skeleton part 1a includes a metal oxide or a metal hydroxide such as a metal oxyhydroxide and forms a three-dimensional network structure. The light reflection member 20 is porous and is preferably formed from a material which reflects light of a wavelength to generate localized surface plasmon resonance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
