PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter device that can realize construction of a hanging scaffold construction body in such a way that different types of scaffold boards having different fitting conditions are included, and an intermediate scaffolding board provided with the adapter device.SOLUTION: The adapter device is a device that can realize, in a hanging scaffold in which scaffold boards including first fitting means and second fitting means having respective fitting conditions are arranged parallely, construction of a hanging scaffold in a way including a first type hanging scaffold board and a second type hanging scaffold board having the fitting conditions that are different. The adapter device is placed between the different types of hanging scaffold boards, and includes, in one side, first joint means that is attachable to and detachable from the second fitting means of a hanging scaffold board of one type between the first type and the second type, and, in the other side, second joint means that is attachable to and detachable from the first fitting means of a hanging scaffold board of the other type between the first type and the second type.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
