PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique allowing for improvement of accuracy of determination made whether an object corresponds to a comparison object, by using image processing.SOLUTION: A feature image generation device 31 for generating a feature image 20 showing a feature of an object on the basis of a captured image 11 with the object imaged therein includes a first image generation part 40, and a second image generation part 50. The first image generation part 40 generates a first image 24 showing the object on the basis of the captured image 11 with the object imaged therein.
