PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a term standardization system configured to standardize terms by company and by attribute of a document, while preventing influence on correspondence between a term to be converted and a standard term.SOLUTION: A term standardization system 100 includes a reference DB 116 which stores, for each company, conversion rule tables 400 with one or more conversion rules including a term to be converted, a standard term for standardization obtained by conversion, a category of a document, a type and class, and priority for conversion. The system receives a company ID of a company which treats a document, the document, category, type and class, and searches a conversion table 400 corresponding to the received company ID for a conversion rule corresponding to the category, type and class, to convert a term to be converted in the document to a standard term, according to the priority, on the basis of the conversion rule.
