ARTIFICIAL RAINBOW GENERATION/OBSERVATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for artificially generating a rainbow with a simple configuration and facilitating observation of the rainbow.;SOLUTION: The system for generating artificially and observing a rainbow by spraying water droplets under a sunlight incidence condition comprises a rainbow generation device 10 including: a water tank 11 capable of being pressurized by a pump; a spray nozzle body 20 capable of spraying water from a nozzle 23 at a tip; and stand means supporting the spray nozzle body 20 for spraying water from the nozzle 23 generally upward. The system further comprises an observation gauge 30 used by an observer standing at a position spaced apart from the rainbow generation device 10 and including: a first marker part 33 aligned at a position of an eye; a second marker part 34 aligned in a spraying direction in one of two extending directions; and a third marker part 35 aligned in a shade direction of a head in the other direction when the sunlight is incident on the back of observer. The observation gause enables the observer to confirm a direction of the rainbow generation by aligning the respective marker parts of observation gauge.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
