PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a falling object protective device for a corner that appropriately covers a corner region between a first scaffold structure extending in X-direction, along which a first group of falling object protective devices is installed, and a second scaffold structure extending in Y-direction, along which a second group of falling object protective devices is installed, along with a falling object protective device for a corner.;SOLUTION: A falling object protective device for a corner (19) is configured with a corner unit comprising a rectangular falling object protective device (20) installed at a center of a corner region and fan-shaped falling object protective devices (21)(21) positioned on the right and left sides thereof.
