PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column structure of a falling body guard fence such that a surface material can be arranged on a slope mountain side while damage to a column is avoided, and the falling body guard fence using the colum structure.;SOLUTION: There is provided a column structure of a falling body guard fence 1 that achieves protection against a falling body from a slope, and includes a column body 11 supporting a surface material (high tension wire net) 6 of the falling body guard fence 1 on the slope mountain side, and brackets 12, 12 which project from the column body 11 to the slope mountain side. The column body 11 supports the surface material 6 on the slope mountain side through the bracket 12, 12, and a space 8 for avoiding a collision of the surface material 6 against the column body 11 is secured between the surface material 6 and column body 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
