PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation device capable of automatically generating an instruction table from an instruction definition entity that excels in descriptiveness and readability.;SOLUTION: The instruction definition entity includes a description string that represents an instruction format. The description string describes, with respect to each of instruction fields, a pair of a position-and-size related character string representing one item of an LSB position, an MSB position, and a size and a content character string representing the content designated in each of instruction fields. A syntax analysis unit 111 acquires, on the basis of the description string, a value pertaining to one item about each of instruction fields. A calculation unit 112 calculates a value pertaining to an other item different from one item among the LSB position, the MSB position, and the size with respect to each of instruction fields by using the value pertaining to one item acquired by the syntax analysis unit 111.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
