PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly crystalline lithium aluminium silicate glass-ceramic combined with low proportions of residual glass phase.SOLUTION: A highly crystalline lithium aluminium silicate glass-ceramic comprises, by mass%, LiO: more than 4.0 to 4.6%, NaO+KO: 0 to less than 0.4%, MgO: 0.2 to 0.8%, CaO+SrO: 0.05 to 1.0%, BaO: 0 to less than 0.5%, ZnO: 1.0 to 2.0%, AlO: 19 to 23%, SiO: 66 to less than 70%, TiO: 2.0 to 2.4%, ZrO: 1.6 to less than 2.0%, SnO: 0 to 0.4%, PO: 0 to 3% and BO: 0 to 1.0%, and optionally comprises chemical refining agents such as AsO, SbO, CeOand refining additives such as manganese oxide, sulphate compounds, chloride compounds, fluoride compounds in total contents of up to 2.0%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
