PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turret tool rest that can easily set a tool mounting position.;SOLUTION: A turret tool rest 10 is a turret tool rest 10 which includes a turret 14 provided with a plurality of tool installation part in a circumferential direction and a controller 76 that controls the swivel drive of the turret 14, the controller 76 having tool selection means 761 that select a tool by making the turret 14 swivel so as to position a tool installation part with a processing tool installed at a predetermined selection position and shortcut rotation restriction means 762 that restricts the selection of a tool by the swivel of the turret 14 in a clockwise direction or a counterclockwise direction where the swivel angle decreases, and the shortcut rotation restriction means 762 is so configured as to restrict when the addition of a maximum swivel angle in the clockwise direction of the turret 14 to a maximum swivel angle in the counterclockwise direction to exceed a 360 degree when the turret 14 swivels on the basis of the tool selection means.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
