PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy wire rod used as the conductor of an electric wiring body whose bending fatigue properties are higher than those of the conventional one while securing high tensile strength and conductivity.SOLUTION: An aluminum alloy wire rod 1 has a composition containing, by mass, 0.1 to 1.0% Mg, 0.1 to 1.2% Si, 0.01 to 1.40% Fe, 0.000 to 0.100% Ti, 0.000 to 0.030% B, 0.00 to 1.00% Cu, 0.00 to 0.50% Ag, 0.00 to 0.50% Au, 0.00 to 1.00% Mn, 0.00 to 1.00% Cr, 0.00 to 0.50% Zr, 0.00 to 0.50% Hf, 0.00 to 0.50% V, 0.00 to 0.50% Sc, 0.00 to 0.50% Co, 0.00 to 0.50% Ni, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. In the aluminum alloy wire rod 1, the number of precipitates with a diameter of 1 μm or lower containing Mg and/or Si at the outer circumferential part is larger than that of precipitates at the inside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
