PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shipment support system capable of efficiently perform shipment of baggage at low cost, a shipment support method, a shipment support program, and a baggage measurement apparatus.;SOLUTION: A baggage measurement apparatus 2 measures the dimensions and/or weight of baggage at a shipper, and produces baggage data including an identification number and baggage information representing the measured dimensions and/or weight of the baggage (S1-5). A request data production unit 3 receives the baggage data from the baggage measurement apparatus 2 (S1-7), acquires delivery data, which includes shipper information on the shipper, the identification number, and delivery destination information representing the delivery destination of the baggage, from a shipper terminal 4 (S1-2), produces request data on the basis of the baggage data and the delivery data (S1-11), and provides a physical distribution management system 5 of a transportation company with the request data (S1-12).;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
