PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure for hermetically sealed type power storage device, a hermetically sealed type power storage device and a method of manufacturing the same that can also enhance the sealing performance of an injection hole under even a sealing state before welding.SOLUTION: A sealing port plate having a liquid injection hole and a sealing tap for sealing the liquid injection hole are provided. The sealing tap has a holding member and a press-fit member. The sealing port plate has a deep counterbore around the liquid injection hole on a surface at a side of the sealing port plate which is joined to the holding member. The press-fit member has a base portion joined to the holding member and a projection portion inserted in the liquid injection hole. The base portion has a predetermined diameter dimension. The projection portion has a first side surface portion at the base portion side and a second side surface portion at the tip side. A part of the first side surface portion and the inner peripheral surface of the liquid injection hole are brought into contact with each other over the whole periphery of the inner peripheral surface. The intersection angle θ1 between the contact portion and the direction vertical to the principal surface of the holding member under an unloaded condition is equal to a predetermined value, the diameter PD1 of the boundary between the projection portion and the base portion, the diameter PD3 at the tip and the diameter HD1, the maximum diameter PD5 of the second side surface portion and the diameter HD1, and the diameter PD2 of the boundary between the first side surface portion and the second side surface portion and the diameter PD5 respectively satisfy predetermined dimensional relationships, and a gap L1 is provided between the base portion and the bottom portion of the deep counterbore portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4A
