PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device, a management method, and a program of an IO device arranged on a network capable of diagnosing the IO device without arranging any CPU device exclusive for diagnosis, or adversely affecting a CPU device arranged on the network.SOLUTION: A management device of an IO device in a computer system configured such that a CPU device and an IO device are arranged on a network, and connected via a computer internal bus includes: a diagnosis data generation/restoration part for converting data to be used for diagnosis; a connection control part for performing connection control and disconnection control with the IO device; and a communication part for transmitting/receiving data for diagnosis.
