PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a damped oscillation such as over shoot, which hampers input signal potentials of a circuit for discriminating numerical values so as not to become potentials to be discriminated, which is caused by an input electrostatic capacity C and resonance operation of 'floating inductance L of a signal wire connecting the circuit to a pre-stage circuit', where the input signal potentials of the circuit can be clamped to the maximum and the minimum power supply potentials thereof respectively one by one with a diode, but the input signal potentials cannot be clamped to intermediate power supply potentials thereof respectively in the same manner in a multivalued circuit because the circuit has at least one intermediate power supply potential.;SOLUTION: An input portion of the circuit for discriminating numerical values is connected to a diamond circuit as a bidirectional voltage follower, and most of charge/discharge currents of the input electrostatic capacity C is bypassed to each collector without being passed through the floating inductance L. Since resonance currents flowing through the floating inductance L is reduced and both resonance voltages and damped oscillatory voltages are reduced based on a relation of VL=L.di/dt, a time until the input damped oscillatory potentials are converged into each numerical discrimination threshold range is shortened, so that intrinsic numerical values to be discriminated can be discriminated and outputted faster than before.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 84;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
