PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently connect an electric motor and a control device thereof via a connection component that is configured as a single member, when disposing the control device adjacently to the electric motor in a direction along a rotary shaft of the electric motor.SOLUTION: A connection component for connecting an electric motor and a control device thereof, and a connection structure employing the same are disclosed. A connection component 100 for connecting an electric motor 200 and a control device 300 thereof includes at least an annular control device mounting flange 130 and a relay terminal 150 that is mounted on an inner edge side of the control device mounting flange. The relay terminal includes a conductor 151 for electrically connecting a conductive terminal that is formed to protrude from the electric motor, and a control terminal of the control device, and also includes a protection part (protrusion) surrounding the conductive terminal that is formed to protrude from the electric motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
