Embodiments of the present invention are for the therapeutic use of diketopiperazines containing cyclic G-2-allylproline and other cyclic glycylproline compounds to treat symptoms of autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders. And the manufacture of a medicament comprising tablets, capsules, liquid formulations, gels, injectable solutions, and other formulations useful for the treatment of such conditions.
