PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening travel arrester which does not require components to be installed onto a guide rail, and can suppress an impact given to a car even if the car travels in the door-opened state, and of which an occupied space can be reduced.;SOLUTION: A door opening travel arrester according to the present invention is provided on an elevator which is equipped with a car 2 vertically elevating in a hoistway 1, and a guide part 5 having a slidable material 4 which is provided upright in the hoistway 1 and slidably contacts the guide rail 3. The arrester includes a brake part which contacts the guide rail 3 and brakes the car 2, and is so configured tat the brake part 6 is provided on the guide part 5. The brake part 6 has a contact part 7 which projects from a surface 4a of the slidable material 4 of the guide part 5 during each floor stop of the car 2 and contacts a rail part 3a of the guide rail 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
