PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-type ground improvement method that utilizes a displacement suppression wall, for effectively improving a soft ground by suppressing subsidence of a banking of a structure and surrounding areas utilizing the displacement suppression wall.;SOLUTION: For the purpose, a wall-type ground improvement method performs the following steps, in sequence: leaving an unimproved layer on a hard bearing layer, to suit a design standard; forming a wall-type improvement layer by building a plurality of walls at a prescribed interval on the unimproved layer, in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of a banking; forming a shallow layer improvement layer on the wall-type improvement layer, and then performing banking on the shallow layer improvement layer. At least a row of displacement suppression walls is built near an outer edge part in a lateral direction of the banking for the wall, the displacement suppression wall having a gap between constituent members.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
