PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry gas purification facility capable of inhibiting carbon deposition to a remover of impurities, pipelines or the like and dry purifying coal gasified gas and a method of inhibiting deposition of carbon in a coal gasification composition power generating unit equipped with the dry gas purification facility.;SOLUTION: There is provided a method for adding steam or CO2 gas as a fluid changing a ratio of χCO2 and χCO to a coal gasification gas produced in a coal gasification furnace so that KB defined by the formula 1 and a reference value KB (T) defined by the formula 2 become a relationship of the formula 3 where χCO2 and χCO are actual molar fractions of CO2 gas and CO gas in a coal gasification gas (pressure P) flowing into a removal device 6 at a temperature T, χCO2(T) and χCO(T) are molar fractions of CO2 gas and CO gas under a condition that a deposition reaction of carbon at the temperature T is not proceeded and P' is a pressure of the coal gasification gas.
