PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment test device and a method for controlling the environment test device with which, even when maintaining the inside of an environment test chamber at low temperature and high humidity and conducting test for a long time, it is possible to reduce the amount of ice sticking to heat exchange means during test and conduct continuous test for a long time without incurring reduction in the functionality of the heat exchange means.;SOLUTION: Provided is an environment test device 10 for installing a test piece V in a test chamber 11 and conducting test, the device comprising a test chamber 11 having an air duct 12 for circulating air, temperature detection means 22 for detecting the temperature in the test chamber 11, humidity detection means 23 for detecting the humidity in the test chamber 11, and heat exchange means 21 for adjusting the temperature in the test chamber 11, and further provided with wet air supply means 40 for supplying a humidity-adjusted wet air so that a difference between the amount of water vapor in the test chamber found on the basis of the outputs of the temperature detection means 22 and humidity detection means 23 and the target amount of water vapor determined on the basis of the set temperature and set humidity of the test chamber 11.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
