PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively promote energy saving performance.SOLUTION: When a refrigeration capacity of a refrigerating machine 34 is reduced in temperature control of a test chamber 12, an inverter 58 is controlled to reduce a power supply frequency to thereby reduce a rotational frequency of a driving motor 60 of a compressor 50, and then an actuator is controlled to narrow an electric expansion valve 54 to thereby decrease an evaporation temperature of an evaporator 56, and on the other hand, when the refrigeration capacity of the refrigerating machine 34 is increased, the actuator is controlled to open the electric expansion valve 54 to thereby increase the evaporation temperature of the evaporator 56, and then the inverter 58 is controlled to increase the power supply frequency to thereby increase the rotational frequency of the driving motor 60 of the compressor 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
