Harmonic rejection passive frequency upconverter

A method and apparatus for harmonic up-converting a baseband signal using at least one quadrature passive upconversion mixer is presented. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a first quadrature passive mixer configured to receive a first baseband input and a first LO input, a second baseband input and a second LO. And a second quadrature passive mixer configured to receive the input. The first output of the first passive mixer can be directly connected to the first output of the second passive mixer and both can be coupled to the first amplifier input. The second output of the first passive mixer can be directly connected to the second output of the second passive mixer and both can be coupled to the second amplifier input. The transmitter may be configured to output an up-converted signal having at least one removed harmonic spurious mixing product based on the first and second amplifier inputs.
