PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content based on location information to a portable terminal.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10 communicatably connected to an access point relevant content providing server in which an access point relevant content database 250 having location information and a URL of a content stored in association with each other is provided in a storage unit is configured to: communicate with a wireless access point for connecting to a public communication network; acquire an IP address of the wireless access point; transmit the acquired IP address to the access point relevant content providing server; receive a URL of a content relevant to the transmitted IP address or location information to be identified by the IP address; and acquire a content to be identified by the received URL.
