PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device, strain measurement method, PC steel stranded wire and fiber optic member that improve measurement accuracy of an amount of measurement objet about a PC steel wire group.SOLUTION: A measurement device comprises an elongated fiber optic member 9 that has a fiber optic and is installed in a stranded wire part 5 formed by having a plurality of PC steel wires assembled, and measures an amount of a prescribed measurement object related to a PC steel stranded wire 1 on the basis of an optical signal from the fiber optic. The fiber optic member 9 is installed so as to run along mutually adjacent PC steel wires 3 between the mutually adjacent PC steel wires 3, and is adhered to only one of the adjacent PC steel wires 3a and 3b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
