PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp a position in the longitudinal direction of a tape portion and an approximate number of stored bills by glancing at an arbitrary tape portion.SOLUTION: A tape winding type bill recirculation device includes: a long belt state tape 2; a first reel 10 executing winding and feeding of the tape by supporting one end side in the longitudinal direction of the tape and rotating forward and backward; and a second reel 20 for supporting another end side in the longitudinal direction of the tape and executing feeding and winding of the tape by forward and reverse rotation, the bills supplied from outside are wound up and stored spirally on an outer periphery of the first reel along with the tape, and is characterized by the tape having a pattern 100 which is a character, a diagram, a symbol or coupling of them or a coupling of these colors and the pattern is composed so that the position or/and form of the pattern in the short direction of the tape is varied in external appearance going from the one end side in the longitudinal direction of the tape to the other end side direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
