PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting electromagnet capable of suppressing increase in a voltage of a coil power source, a superconducting cyclotron, and a charged particle beam deflection electromagnet.SOLUTION: The coil power source 8 supplies superconducting coils 2, 3 with power. Thereby, the superconducting coils 2, 3 are excited and a magnetic circuit is formed at a yoke 4 for accommodating the superconducting coils 2, 3. A control part 9 is capable of changing a sweep velocity of a current when exciting the superconducting coils 2, 3. Therefore, the sweep velocity of the current of the coil power source 8 may be suitably changed according to a situation with the control part 9. Since a voltage is proportional to a sweep velocity of a current and inductance, by reducing a sweep speed of a current even when inductance is high, an increase in a voltage may be suppressed. Thereby, an increase in a voltage of the coil power source 8 may be suppressed.
