PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar transformer having a shield structure that effectively reduces an eddy current while maintaining a shield effect.;SOLUTION: The planar transformer includes: a primary coil disposed at a first layer of a multilayer wiring substrate provided with isolating layers between respective layers; a secondary coil disposed at a third layer of the multilayer wiring substrate; a shield composed of a conductor disposed at a second layer between the first layer and the third layer; and a core, disposed at a position of a hole penetrating the multilayer wiring substrate, having at least one gap. In an entire area of a shield located within a predetermined distance from the gap, to a position on the shield away from the gap by a predetermined distance, a plurality of slits extending from an edge of a shield on a side closer to the gap are formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
