PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of predicting voltage collapse in a micro grid connected with a power distribution network, by measuring the state in a system interconnection point of the micro grid, and the connection bus of the power distribution network connected with the micro grid via a connection link.SOLUTION: A determination is made whether or not the reactive power generation limit of a micro grid has been reached based on the state, the measurement step is repeated when the limit has not been reached, otherwise the parameters of a connection link are obtained using the measured values. A static voltage stability margin index is obtained, and the voltage stability margin index is predicted using the static voltage stability margin index and the forecast of future load variation in the micro grid. A determination is made whether or not the voltage stability margin index is less than a threshold, and when it is not less than a threshold, the measurement step, obtaining step and prediction step are repeated, otherwise a control measure indicating voltage collapse is notified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
