PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA fragmentation apparatus and DNA fragmentation method employing a pressure scheme in which a sample solution containing DNA is directly pressurized and by which a DNA fragmentation with a stable length can be obtained.;SOLUTION: A DNA fragmentation apparatus and DNA fragmentation method according to the invention comprise transporting a sample solution along a channel in a sample solution housing using sample solution transporting means, introducing into an orifice having a pore with a prescribed inner diameter through the channel in a channel terminal end, measuring the power of a flow direction which the orifice receives from the sample solution when the sample solution passes the pore, controlling a speed of flowing of the sample solution transporting means based on the measured result of the power, and regulating the flow rate of the sample solution at the time of passing through the pore so as to keep a measured value of the power at a constant value. The channels in the sample solution housing and the channel terminal end are preferably arranged in a perpendicular direction. For the sample solution housing, sample solution transporting means, and channel terminal end, a syringe barrel, a plunger, and a lure tip are preferably used, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
