PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake/discharged water temperature difference management device and an intake/discharged water temperature difference management method, capable of appropriately managing a temperature difference between intake water and discharged water, and suppressing or preventing the temperature difference from exceeding a value specified in the environmental conservation agreement even if a sudden seawater temperature change occurs in a thermal power plant or a nuclear power plant.;SOLUTION: An intake/discharged water temperature difference management device 1 stores intake water temperatures measured by an intake water thermometer 2 in a storage unit 3 in time series, causes an elapsed time calculation unit 5 to calculate elapsed time ΔT for which cooling water passes through a power generation unit, and causes a temperature difference calculation unit 6 to calculate an intake/discharged water temperature difference T_d by comparing data on the predetermined time ΔT before water discharge time among data on an intake water temperature T_i with a discharged water temperature T_o, thereby carrying out intake/discharged water temperature management in light of the time for which the cooling water W₁ passes through a water channel.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
